3D Printing & Scanning for Fine Art

Process 1
Scaling & Modifications– Resize or alter your design while maintaining its original integrity.
Process 2
Archival & Restoration – Preserve historical sculptures or damaged pieces with precise digital replicas. With a digital scan you ensure you have the artwork when your mold wears out or is damaged.
Process 3
We upload all our scans to a secured site on the cloud and produce a copy for the artist to see on any device. The Artist owns the scan.
3D Printing
We have state of the art Resin Printers that offer stunning detail. These printers provide resin prints and castable resin prints that can go straight to investment. Once a print is created a mold can be made from a resin print or you can bypass the mold with a castable resin print.
We also have state of the art FDM printers that offering superior detail. These printers provide PLA prints that can be used for a detailed armature that ensure form and detail are not lost. Typically, a PLA print would need a skim coat of clay before a mold can be created. This allows the artist to modify the piece to achieve a desired texture. This style of printing is not as detailed as a resin print but a good option if the artist wants to put a thin layer of clay over the print.
By integrating digital technology with time-honored foundry techniques, we empower artists to push the boundaries of sculpture and metalwork. Whether you’re a contemporary artist, or an institution seeking innovative solutions, our 3D printing and scanning services offer a bridge between the past and the future of fine art.
